Catherine is a certified Hypnotherapist having completed a Hypnotherapy & Hypnosis Practitioner Certification Diploma (CTAA).

Catherine helps her clients to overcome a variety of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety & self-esteem issues. Additionally, in helping with people who need assistance with quitting smoking, overeating, alcohol issues, or just wanting a deep meditative experience to relax and practice to be calmer.

Catherine is a Counsellor (ACA) Specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based therapies. Clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgement, develop coping strategies and resilience. To heal, gain clarity or move forward in life.

What is Hypnotherapy

Catherine will discuss your issue/s that you would like to resolve. Then using hypnosis, she will help you go into a deep relaxation, similar to a dream-like state. This is where you will quieten your conscious mind and use your subconscious mind to focus. Then techniques are introduced using verbal repetition and visualisations to create imagery of yourself accomplishing your goals.

Contrary to how hypnosis is sometimes portrayed in movies or on television, you don’t lose control over your behaviour while under hypnosis. Also, you generally remain aware of and remember what happens. It is completely safe and has been used for thousands of years by many cultures.

By making suggestions to the subconscious, we can bring about positive change.
